full pay, but would become so entitled when the second

term of 6 years of residential service was completed.

I would, therefore, beg to call His

Excellency's attention to C.S.0.No.1952 of 1895 where I

believe the correspondence on the subject will be found.

I have now put in fourteen and a half

years residential service and would respectfully submit,

having been deprived of my vacation leave in 1895, as a

Master in Queen's College, I am entitled to two months

full pay vacation leave, plus two months full pay leave

for the months of February and August making four months

full pay in all.

Apart, however, from the considera-

tion of my position as a Master in Queen's College, I

have acted for three and a half years as Deputy Registrar

during which period I have not enjoyed

in this Court

the holidays as a Master in Queen's College, but have be en

kept constantly at work as an ordinary civil servant,

working on occasions even on Bank Holidays.

B.

For a considerable period from 18th.

December, 1898, to 26th. January, 1900, I did the work

of the two Deputy Registrars while practically receiving

only the half pay of one, while on a previous occasion,

when this Office was short handed I undertook the duties

of the First Clerk of Court in addition to my own without

any remuneration.
